Eliminating exposure to smoke from anywhere is essential to coping with asthma

Don’t allow smoking in the home!  However, that’s not always possible, especially when there are elderly in the home whose only solace is smoking.  At the very minimum, keep a child’s bedroom smoke free with an air purifier and the door closed.  Tiny lungs at rest cannot handle the toxins of smoke. If you can keep an air purifier going in the child’s room and keep one very near the smoker in the home, you’ll go a long way to reduce the exposure. Heavy concentrations of activated carbon blends are essential for capturing the smoke.
