Do windows need to be closed to run an air purifier?
One of the most often asked questions!
If your allergies are severe or you are in a highly polluted area, it is always a good idea to keep your windows closed during peak allergy seasons and ozone alerts. The air purifier will operate at the highest level of effectiveness with the windows and doors closed, however, if you enjoy fresh air it is okay to keep your windows open. Place your air purifier in an area of the room away from the window. Our air purifier products will continue to clean the air in the room with or without the windows open.
Indoor air purification is a wide ranging subject and there are no stupid questions. ClearFlite answers lots more basic questions on our website under Air Purifiers 101!
