Tips for Dealing with Dust Mites
At ClearFlite, we're getting more and more calls from people who find they are suffering from dust mite allergies. Your HEPA air purifiers will help immensely. However, it is important to know that in the battle against dust mites, indoor moisture levels should be kept low. DON'T use a humidifier unless you have to (and in that case clean it daily). Dust mites love human skin cells, so wash that bedding weekly in hot water, and whenever you clean a room or shake out anything, run your air purifier on high.

What's up on the Allergy Calendar? Ragweed - an ugly weed that we could all live happily without. It even has an ugly common name, although its official name is Ambrosia Artemisiifolia. However, there is definitely no connection to the “ambrosia” known in ancient history as food for the gods! Common ragweed is the leading cause of fall hay fever symptoms in North America. Ragweed is a summer growing annual which produces abundant pollen.
