Alternative Filters for Enhanced Use

The air purifier comes standard with the integrated filter described above. This filter can be replaced by one of the following for enhanced odor or smoke removal: The BF25A MCP Smoke Odor Filter has a Pre-filter and a HEPA filter, but is also includes a concentrated powder which uses a molecular conversion process to change smoke and odors so they are removed on contact as the air passes through the air purifier. The second alternative filter is the Gas-MP MCP Max Odor Filter which contains an all in one washable Pre-filter, activated carbon pellets, and MCP odor powder. It contains twice the carbon and is very effective at removing odors.

Our rating:

This air purifier falls into our medium range of air purifiers and is a good value for the dollar when it comes to removing particles in a larger space. It has a light carbon filter which will help with some odors but it is not designed for odor or chemical removal, unless one of the alternative filters is used. It is well made from a good company. The wall mounting capability may be a plus for people short on floor space.
