It also includes three filters; the Allerair HEPA filter, the pre filter, and 18 pounds of activated carbon. The carbon filter is recommended to be changed every 2.5 years. The pre filters, every 2 months, and the HEPA filter, every 5 years. These recommendations can change due to the environment that the system is purifying.
