The 6000 Exec UV is classified as a general purpose/anti-microbial model. (Microbes by definition are bacteria, protozoa, viruses, and fungi). What the 6000 Exec actually removes in addition to the particulate, odors, and chemicals that a general purpose system removes are most airborne bacteria and some viruses, the latter of which is accomplished by the ultraviolet lamp. The lamp lasts from one to two years. It also removes mycotoxins which are found on the surfaces of mold spores that are alive or dead. The 6000 Exec UV contains a very large amount of blended Mac-B carbon, 22 pounds, so it's adsorption capability is great. (Mac-B means mass activated carbon bed). Available in two colors: textured sandstone or textured black, the round 6000 Exec UV is easily moved on rolling casters.
