The AirMedic is Allerair's newest, most technologically advanced all-around system. This model employs a perfect seal around the HEPA filter to prevent any air leakage. Because of this, the system is excellent for allergy relief and mold removal, as the perfect seal reduces the amount of air exchanges needed to purify a room. Though it is labeled with the HEPA standard of “99.97% effective for particles of 0.3 microns”, in product testing it actually tests at better than 99% for products even smaller than 0.3 microns. This can be attributed to the seal around the HEPA filter as well as the warm-rolling and pleating technique that prevents cracks and leakage. Overall, the AirMedic exceeds the EN 1822 filtration standards.

The Allerair AirMedic provides excellent value; on top of the perfect-seal HEPA filter for particles, it also has a large activated carbon filter which has become the signature of Allerair's products. The 2 inch deep, 18 pound carbon filter will remove odors and dangerous gases from your indoor environment, such as formaldehyde, radon and VOCs (Volatile Organic Chemicals) found in many household materials and substances like paints, carpeting and cleaning products. A purifier with a HEPA and pre-filter only will not remove any gaseous chemicals.

AirMedic Indoor Air Purifiers

• Carbon Filter: Replace every 2 years
• HEPA Filter: Replace every 5 years

The filter replacement process is simple. Changing a pre-filter takes seconds, and changing the Carbon or HEPA filter will take no more than 5 minutes, even for a first time user.
