Austin Air Purifier - HealthMate Jr Plus, HM-200 +
The petite frame size is much smaller than that of the HealthMate HEPA air purifiers so care must be taken to use the Jr in smaller rooms like bedrooms, home offices, bathrooms, laundries, etc. The Healthmate Junior Plus is a model similar to the Healthmate Plus and just as powerful. However, this air purifier is a smaller stature and only weighs 18 pounds. The purifier contains 6.5 pounds of a mixture of compounds that can catch all chemicals and odors. This mixture includes active carbon, zeolite and potassium iodide. This type of filter is ideal for customers who are sensitive to chemicals since it is able to wipe out these chemicals in the contaminated air. The Healthmate Junior Plus is able to clean air in a room up to 700 square feet and is equipped with the same efficient and safe motor as the Healthmate Plus. |

| A smaller version of the
Austin Air Healthmate Plus is the Healthmate Jr. Plus. These Austin Air air purifiers
have all the essential ingredients needed for an effective and efficient
air purifier. The Jr. Plus is equipped with a powerful filtering system
and efficient design but is conveniently smaller in size than the
Healthmate. The Austin Air Junior Plus has added filtering media that is able to
specialize in removing odors and gases from the indoor air. Chemicals in
indoor air can be harmful especially for people who may suffer from
Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. By removing these chemicals and their fumes
from the air, it is left safer and cleaner. The residents of the home can
breathe the air in easier and safer once it has run through the Healthmate
Plus. These Austin Air air purifiers contain a centrifugal fan that has three different speeds. When the system is running at even the highest speed, it only uses a small bit of power and can therefore be left on the highest speed throughout the night if needed. The Austin Air Healthmate Jr. Plus uses only 80 watts of power when on the highest setting and has a power rating of one amp or 120 volts of power. The system uses a high efficiency fan motor, which has a long life and is very sturdy and can withstand constant use of the air purifier. The motor itself is mounted on shock absorbers to minimize the noise of the air purifier. The HEPA filter that is present in the Austin Air Healthmate Jr. Plus is 9.5 inches in diameter and 11.25 inches in height. It is made up of 30 feet of medical HEPA filter paper that is pleated together for effective absorption of contaminants. These Austin Air air purifiers are also equipped with a mixture of activated carbon and zeolite. These two compounds specialize in the removal of gases and odors that may be present in the air. The Austin Air Healthmate Jr. Plus is able to clean a room that is up to 700 square feet in size and is perfect for a bedroom or baby's room. don't feel so stuffy all the time. I was concerned that it wouldn't help much
