The Healthmate purifier is the most general purifier produced by Austin and is perfect for a user's home or office. This purifier weighs 45 pounds and is about 23 inches high and 14.5 inches wide. The product is built with a steel housing and the surface is painted with the baked on powder finish that Austin Air is well known for. The Healthmate has a bottom plate that is easily removable to have access to the filter inside. However, since the Austin Air Healthmate has the ability to be vacuumed from the outside, the filter does not need to be changed every 3 months like most air purifiers. Hi ClearFlite. We've been running our Austin Air Purifier HEPA, HM 400, for two weeks now and you were right. This Austin Air air purifier does make a significant difference. Our family room is much cleaner and more comfortable. And that slight musty odor that was driving me nuts is gone. We put it in the corner and have let it run on medium speed since we got it. I keep seeing those TV ads with the brands that have washable filters which makes me love the fact that I don't have to wash anything with my Austin! With three kids and three cats, low maintenance is high on my priority list. Thanks for making the whole process easy. We'll probably add the smaller air purifiers to our bedrooms later in the year.

Dear Bonnie. Thank you so much for working with me to understand the best air purifier for my home.  The cats really had my son and me in a horrible sneezy mess before we put in the HM 400 Air Purifier.  Now the indoors is much cleaner particularly in the bedrooms as well as the kitchen and living room.  We really appreciate being able to get up in the morning without a runny nose and bloodshot eyes.  The Austin air purifier have been great - what do you know about weight loss?  LOL
