Austin Air Purifiers - Systems
With so many air purifiers produced
by Austin Air, some consumers feel they aren't sure which product is right for
their needs. One of the most important differences between the models is the
filtration systems that were designed for each product. Each filtration system
has a specific purpose and a type of contaminant that it is designed to remove
from the air. Since each consumer has a different situation and a different goal
when purchasing a system, Austin Air has made sure to accommodate all of its
customers by offering air purifiers with different filtration systems. Most
consumers are able to find the perfect system for their situation when looking at
the different series from Austin Air.
The original Healthmate is a system which contains the four stage filtration
system. This system includes a pre filter for large particles, another filter
for medium particles, media for the removal of gases and odors and a HEPA
filter. After this four stage process, most particles including gases and
chemicals are removed from the air before it is released into the room. The
three filters are specified to remove particles such as pollen and dust while
the special media mixture of carbon and zeolite is effective at absorbing the
gases, chemicals and odors. After the air is released from the Healthmate, it is
free of these particles and any odors as well. These air purifiers are great
general units for those consumers who want to remove all contaminants from the
air and make their indoor air healthier to breathe.
The next filtration system that Austin Air designed was specified to remove many
particles from the air for those who suffer from asthma and allergies. The HEGA
series of air purifiers contains stages of filtration that were developed to be
sure these allergens are gone before the air is released from the system. The HEGA
filtration system follows along the same guidelines as the effective four stage
filtration system in the Healthmate. It also contains a pre filter for large
particles and another filter for medium sized particles. The third stage in the
HEGA series of air purifiers is an activated military carbon cloth. This carbon
cloth is able to absorb gases, chemicals and odors. These small particles of
chemicals are what can sometimes cause asthma attacks and allergic reactions in
many people. With the help of the military carbon cloth, these particles are
absorbed before the air is released from the air purifiers. The filtration
system inside these air purifiers also contains the medical grade HEPA filter
which can remove any other particles, even the smallest, which are still present
in the air.
For those who may be sensitive to chemicals, Austin Air has developed the
Healthmate Plus. These air purifiers contain the same efficient filtration
system that is present in the original Healthmate, but added a special media to
remove harmful chemicals from the air. The third stage of this filtration system
combines carbon, zeolite and Potassium Iodide to remove chemicals from the
indoor air. Ammonia, formaldehyde and other types of chemicals that are common
to many households are easily eliminated by this mixture of media. The
specialization of this media can ensure the consumer that even the tiniest
particles of chemicals or gases that are present in the air are removed before
it is released into the home.
Many people who suffer from sensitivities to chemicals or respiratory problems
count on the unique filtration systems in the air purifiers by Austin Air. The
company has delivered to those consumers who need clean air in their homes or
offices by developing different models of air purifiers that contain different
features. By addressing the specific needs of the consumer, Austin Air has
created excellent air purifiers for everyday needs.
