450E Air Purifiers

Blueair Air Purifiers has made the dramatic transition from a simple 4 position switch to an elegant electronically controlled air cleaner with remote control. The 450E is essentially the Blueair 403 with a completely updated control system. Not only are all of the systems controllable via a remote, but, the condition of the air and smells in a room are reported. There is also a timer built into the control panel. There are five air exchanges per hour with this air purifier.

The HyperHEPA system is utilized in the Blueair 450E to provide clean air with low noise and very efficient use of power. This is done by using a more open HEPA filter that allows the air to pass more freely though the air purifiers. Since the air is passing though with less resistance it takes less energy to push it though and the air makes less noise. The trick is that Blueair uses electrostatic brushes in the 450E air purifiers. These brushes charge the particulates prior to their passage though the HEPA filters. This means that the indoor pollution only needs to get near to a fiber in the HEPA filter and the pollution will be electrically attracted to that fiber. Once the pollution sticks to the fiber it is out of your environment forever.
