The engineers achieved this result by creating a higher flow cabinet and employing an advanced technology, high efficiency motor.

In large rooms and in open floor plans, the Blueair 601 will handle the entire area. You cannot tell that the system is on when set to low. On high speed, the air cleaners are still pleasant because it generates a quality white noise sound without annoying rattles or pings.

The SmokeStop option is ideal if you have a smoker or sufferer from MCS. The Company has added more activated carbon to these filters to provide even more chemical adsorption. This model can clean air in a room up to 679 square feet and uses the same technology as the other models. The 601 air purifiers are 26 inches high and 20 inches wide and weighs 35 pounds. The model is able to make six air changes per hour in a 679 square foot room. This model offers the option to change the HEPASilent filter to a SmokeStop filter. It has an airflow rate of 88 CFM to 490 CFM. The 601 uses 35 to 120 watts of power and the noise level is 32 to 68 dB.

We love the 601air purifiers! The new 601 that we bought from you in September was our third system. We now have one of each model. We were delighted when the larger 601 came out because, although we loved our 501, we felt it wasn't quite large enough for our great room. The 601 is perfect and we've now put the 501 in our partially finished basement where it has already taken out the moldy smell. They are so quiet on the lower speeds, just as you promised.
