Blueair Air Purifiers - Overview
Blueair has developed many different models of purifiers to meet the specific needs of its customers. Blueair has developed these products with satisfaction and quality in mind. Each of the Blueair air cleaners has different characteristics that set it apart from other air purifiers on the market today. All of the Blueair purifiers use their top of the line HEPASilent filter and offer a ten-year warranty. A ten-year warranty on all defects in materials or workmanship is the longest and most dedicated warranty offered to customers by any air purifier manufacturer.
One of the models is called the 203. This model is able to clean a room the size of 200 square feet. It is 21 inches high and 17 inches wide and weighs 25 pounds. The CADR for smoke on this product is 128. The CADR for dust is 134 and for pollen, the rate is 140. This model of purifier consumes 20 to 50 watts of power and the sound pressure level is 30 to 43 dB. The 201 has an airflow rate of 82 to 141 CFM and can make five air changes in a 200 square foot room per hour.
The Blueair 301 is the model next in size to the 203. The 303 is 21 inches high and 17 inches wide and weighs 24 pounds. This model is able to clean a room up to 209 square feet in size. The 303 uses all of the same air cleaning technology as the larger and award-winning model, the 501. This model consumes only 20 to 60 watts of power and the noise level is between 36 to 58 dB.
The next powerful model is called the 403. The 403 is a larger model at 23 inches high and 20 inches wide. The model weighs 34 pounds and is able to clean a room that is 365 square feet in diameter. This model has a CADR of 240 for smoke, 250 for dust and 255 for pollen. It uses 20 to 80 watts of power and releases 32 to 58 dB of sound. The Model 403 received a 3.1 Dust CADR to Watt ratio when qualifying for the Energy Star program. The 403 model comes with the option of the HEPASilent filter or the specialty filter called the SmokeStop filter. The SmokeStop filter is equipped with activated carbon and can eliminate gas and odor in a room while still eliminating all other particles and toxins.
Blueair 503 Air Purifiers are an award-winning design. It is 26 inches high and 20 inches wide and weighs 35 pounds. The Blueair 501 is able to clean a room with a square footage of 620 feet and uses 35 to 90 watts of power. This model has amazing CADR results with smoke at 388, dust at 377 and pollen at 378. The Blueair 501 is able to make six air changes per hour in a 620 square foot room. It uses 35 to 90 watts of power and gives off 35 to 71 dB of sound. The 503 Model achieved a 4.3 Dust CADR to Watt ratio when qualifying for the Energy Star program. The 503 comes with four different speeds and the airflow rate varies from 88 CFM to 450 CFM, depending on which speed the model is operating. For a room that is 550 square feet, this purifier can make six air changes in one hour. There is an option on this model to change the HEPASilent filter to the SmokeStop filter.
The largest and most powerful model made by Blueair is called the 603. These air purifiers can clean air in a room up to 679 square feet and uses the same technology as the other Blueair models. The 603 air purifiers are 26 inches high and 20 inches wide and weighs 35 pounds. The model is able to make six air changes per hour in a 679 square foot room. This model offers the option to change the HEPASilent filter to a SmokeStop filter. It has an airflow rate of 88 CFM to 490 CFM. Blueair 603 air purifiers use 35 to 120 watts of power and the noise level is 32 to 68 dB.
