Blueair Air Purifiers - Quiet, Low
Energy, Great Design
With customers' comfort in mind, Blueair was
sure to make the purifiers the most quiet on the market. All
Blueair models of their air
purifiers do not make a sound louder than a desktop computer running when set
on the lowest setting. The Blueair products are so quiet because the air is able to
freely flow through the HEPASilent filter and out the purifier. Most filters in
purifiers are packed tightly, causing the air to have to force its way through
and creating a loud noise. The combination of mechanical and electrostatic
filters in the HEPASilent filter, however, allows the air to go straight
through. With the air able to flow and move without any help, the fan present
inside the purifier does not have to work as hard at pushing the air and
therefore is quieter than other filters as well.
Blueair also achieves the comfort of the customer
in the outtake of air . The air exits the machine through a
space, which is six times bigger than most purifiers on the market. With
such a big space to exit, the air hardly produces a draft or breeze. The air is
exited through the top and sides of the machine and the dirty air is drawn in
through the sides and bottom. The airflow of the machine is quiet and steady,
causing no loud noises or blasts of air.
The efficiency of Blueair's products is
exceptional and well appreciated by customers who do not want to spend a lot of
money on energy consumption. The system can be run in a customer's home for 24
hours a day and the customer should not be able to see a jump in the energy
bill. To run these air purifiers on a low setting is about the same energy used
to have a light switch on. The air purifiers on the lowest setting uses about 15
watts of power. On a high setting, the machine still uses only 95 watts.
The design of the Blueair purifier is award
winning and unique to any other purifier on the market. The purifiers have a
sleek and modern look, coming a few different color choices. The functional and
eye-catching design of the filters has won the company the Excellent Swedish
Design award. This award is one of the most prestigious awards given out in
Scandinavia. There is even a Blueair purifying system that is kept at The National
Museum in Stockholm as a permanent exhibit. The sleek and unique design of the
Blueair's products does not take away any of it's functionality or
effectiveness.
Blueair also took the customers' comfort into
account when developing the speeds and use of the air purifiers. The machine is
user-friendly and produces a bright blue light when it is on. This light is
important since the system is so quiet; the customer often is not sure whether
it's on or off. The machine is as easy to wash, as it is easy to use. The
exterior steel is easy to wipe down with a wet rag and can come clean from
virtually any type of stain. The grilles and air vents are easy and harmless to
wipe down as well. The steel housing of the purifier usually don't pick up
stains or grime as easy as the plastic housing of other air purifiers can. The
filter in the purifier is simple to replace every six months. The customer is
able to open the lid and pull out the old filter. The new filter can be slid
right into the old filter's place. There are no tools or screws to deal with and
the lid is easy to open and close. It only takes a quick moment to replace the
filter and the system will be back to new.
