Blueair Air Purifiers -
Product Selection
Since there are so many differences in
the air purifiers produced and designed by Blueair, choosing the right
one for your home or office can seem like a daunting task. However,
there are a few simple factors you should look at when comparing air
purifier products in order to choose the correct system for your needs.
Some of the things to look at when choosing air purifiers for your home
or office include the amount of square footage the system can clean, the
filtration system included in the system and the system's efficiency.
Factors such as the design, size and weight of the system should also be
examined if you know you will need to transport the system from room to
room. Many of Blueair's air purifiers are designed with the consumer's
needs in mind, which makes them perfect for many common situations. The
units are equipped with the best filtration systems and made form the
most high quality parts in order to assure the consumers of their
functionality and efficiency at doing a great job of removing
contaminants from indoor air. The air is left clean and fresh after
exiting Blueair's air purifiers and if the right model is chosen, this
crisp and refreshing air can be a wonderful treat for your family or
friends.
The Blueair air purifiers all contain the same combination filtration
system which has been proven to be more efficient than a HEPA filtration
system alone or an electrostatic filtration system alone. The
combination of these two effective systems leads to more efficient
removal of the particles in the air. A Blueair HEPA filter by itself is
the most common filtration system of other brands of air purifiers. This
system alone is only proven to remove 99.7% of particles in the air that
are 0.03 microns and larger in size. This excludes many particles of
bacteria that can easily become airborne and cause the spread of flues
or colds. This sized category of particles also doesn't include a lot of
smaller allergen particles which may not be seen by the naked eye but
can also cause allergic reactions or asthma attacks in many people who
suffer from these conditions.
The filtration technology that is used in Blueair air purifiers helps
the units to be completely effective at removing even the smallest
particulate matter found in the air. The air purifiers contain the
combination of the HEPASilent system with the electrostatic system in
order for the units to achieve 99.9% efficiency with particles that are
0.03 microns and larger. The units are also able to obtain 99.7%
efficiency for particles that are 0.01 microns in size and larger, which
includes many particles that are easily missed by other air purifiers on
the market.
Since it is known that the efficiency of Blueair air purifiers is higher
than most other units on the market, the next thing to do is look at the
correct model for your home or office. The square footage that a system
can handle is the deciding factor on which model would be best for your
situation. The best task to perform before ordering a Blueair system is to
measure the size of the room that the air purifier will be placed in to
clean. The Blueair 201 and 301 models of air purifiers are able to clean
a room that is up to 200 square feet in size or smaller. This makes
these smaller units perfect for a small office, bathroom, closet or
smaller bedroom. The Blueair 402 is the next step up in size and can
clean a room that is 365 square feet in size or smaller. This is a great
system for a larger sized office or even the living room or hallway in a
home. If you're looking for a model that can clean a larger room, the
501 is a great system for you because it can clean a room that is 580
square feet in size. The system that is able to clean the largest room is
the 601 and it can handle a room that is up to 679 square feet in size.
This would be a good system for a large great room or any other large open
space inside an office or home.
