Honeywell, a well established American company, which makes products with a high degree of user friendliness, created the Enviracaire line of air purifiers for rooms measuring 375 square feet and smaller. The Enviracaire 50250 and 50200 models are true HEPA air purifiers, which capture at least 99.97% of the mold spores, pet dander, dust mite allergens, and pollens, as well as other small particulate in a room. The Enviracaire also has an activated carbon pre-filter that will reduce odors in the room.

The patented 360° air intake and air discharge of the Honeywell line of air purifiers is one of the distinctive features of the Enviracaire line. Most air purifiers are rectangular in shape, but the Enviracaire is round. You can put it anywhere in the room as long as it's not pushed up against the wall. Honeywell air purifiers are really quiet, especially on the lower speeds. The Enviracaire employs sound reducing technology, which includes a special fan blade, a motor mount, which is isolated, and additional insulation, which add up to very quiet operation. The QuietCare unit, in particular, is about 30% quieter than commensurate air purifiers. Plus the QuietCare model has a remote control.
