IQAir Indoor Air Purifiers use Effective HEPA
The most unique and valuable quality that IQAir Air Purifiers possesses is their ability to update and stay on top of ever-changing technology in the air purifying world. IQAir's air purifiers use only the best and most up to date filters and parts. The performance from these unsurpassed IQAir filters and parts have given customers outstandingly clean air and great efficiency. IQAir believes that those are the two most important characteristics of air cleaners and the company wants to deliver these two qualities in every individual product.
IQAir has been able to deliver top performance, clean air and great efficiency on indoor air purifiers because of their attention to detail and constant research on the betterment of filters and products. IQAir uses all resources of research and technology in order to keep their products top of the line but they are also sure to keep the products user-friendly and easy for customers to operate and work with.
Products by IQAir are different from other manufacturers because these products are certified by the EN1822. The EN1822 is the strongest test that can be given to air purifiers. It tests their strength and ability to lean air efficiently. The EN1822 test challenges a HEPA filter to clean air in the most difficult and contaminated situation. The HEPA filter is put into a room with contaminated air particles that are at the least efficient particle size. The filter is then expected to clean the air completely in a certain amount of time. The EN1822 is a test that must be passed in order for a product to be used in a hospital or other public "clean room". IQAir purifiers are the first company to certify their products using the EN1822. This means that now people can have air in their homes as clean, pure and sterile as the air inside a hospital. This safe and clean air circulating throughout the indoor air in people's home is helping less people to get sick or to see symptoms of prior medical conditions such as asthma or allergies.
HEPA technology is used in almost all indoor air purifiers due to the effectiveness of the filters. IQAir HEPA filters are used in the IQAir air purifiers found in important places for clean air such as operating rooms and microchip manufacturers. Without the complete effectiveness of HEPA filters in these environments, they could be very dangerous to anyone exposed to the chemicals or airborne particles in the air. Although HEPA filters are important and effective, there are many companies that use HEPA filters but not to their full advantage. Many air purifier manufacturing companies mistakenly advertise on their air purifiers that their product can filter out 99.7% of any particles, contaminants or odors in the air. This statement cannot be true for the entire unit. A HEPA filter is proven to be able to filter out 99.7% of contaminants but the companies that make this claim for their air purifiers do not take into consideration the air leakage that inevitably occurs in every unit. When the air leakage is taken into account and the filtered particles are re-counted, the other manufacturer's indoor air purifiers are only proven to filter out about 50% of contaminants in the air. The actual amount of particles being filtered as opposed to what the HEPA filter is actually able to filter is a big difference.
This difference in particles being filtered is due to the leakage of air out of a manufacturer's air purifiers. When the air leaks out before going through the efficient HEPA filter, it is still contaminated but is put out into the environment without being filtered at all. This leaked air can still contain particles, gases, allergens or odors that can be breathed in. IQAir air purifiers do not have this leakage.
