All of the dirty airflow that is drawn into the bottom of the IQAir passes though the filter modules. Using cleanroom technology, the airflow is filtered to standards that are not quoted by other manufacturers. This IQAir product removes particle as small as 0.01 microns while most other manufacturers only rate their units to 0.03 microns! The IQAir Compact is a Best Buy. They are efficient, nearly silent air cleaners on low speed, and produces a quality white noise on high, offer filtering monitoring and reporting electronics. The Compact only lacks the remote control and upgradeability of the HealthPro. The HealthPro Compact is equipped with all the usual efficient parts that each IQ purifier has presented. It has a HyperHEPA filter and 3-D seal, a PreMax pre-filter and a centrally located fan. This air purifier is the smaller version of the regular HealthPro and is only 29 pounds. It is 28 inches high and 16 inches wide. The Compact is able to perform all the functions of a regular HealthPro except that it does not include a remote control. It also lacks the option to upgrade the purifier to a HealthPro Plus. IQAir HealthPro Compact air purifiers are designed most definitely for allergy
sufferers and offers the peak of the line filtration of small airborne
particles, dust, and allergens such as pollen and pet dander. The IQAir
HealthPro Compact offers the most efficient HEPA air cleaners that are within
its class. This purifier uses the H 12/13 class certified HEPA filter which is
normally used in multi-million dollar cleanrooms.
The IQAir HealthPro Compact has six selectable fan speeds. The free flowing fan
with new filters installed has a capacity of 700 cfm or 1 to 45 cfm. The maximum
coverage area based on the maximum fan speed and a ceiling of about eight feet
tall is 900 square feet. The efficiency for grabbing the particles in the air is
99.97% at 0.3 microns. It's 99% for much smaller particles. The power
requirements for the IQAir HealthPro Compact are 115 V, 60 Hz. All of the
components are electrical an UL certified.
The power consumption of the IQAir HealthPro Compact varies depending on which
speed that the fan is set at. If it is at speed 1, it consumes 1-85 Watts. Speed
2, 120 Watts. Speed 3, 150 Watts. Speed 4, 170 Watts. Speed 5, 205 Watts, and
speed 6, 215 Watts. The dimensions are as follows. Height – 24 inches; Width –
15 inches; Depth – 15 inches, and its weight is 25 pounds. This particular unit
also includes 5 year warranty on the unit including the fans, but this warranty
excludes the filters.
Every IQAir HealthPro Compact comes with filters, hand signed Certificate of
Performance, four canisters, six foot long power cord, a remote control, user
manual, and a user guide on both, VHS and DVD.
