HEPA Indoor Air Purifiers - IQAir HealthPro Plus

The following step outlines the flow path for IQAir HealthPro Plus indoor air purifiers.  The other models are a variation on this theme and the filter capabilities of these fine products are detailed on the page for each model.

The real key to the success of the technology in these indoor air purifiers is that the company certifies the products to pass at least 95% of the airflow that enters the unit through the filter systems of the IQAir air purifiers.  This sounds very basic but, many of the competitors have quite a bit of blow-by.  This means that a good portion of the air leaving the competitor's air purifiers is not cleaned!  Recently the FCC made a number of firms correct their marketing language to specify that 99.95% of all of the particles that pass THROUGH the HEPA filter are removed.  It would be nice of all of the maker of air purifiers would rate the efficiency of their air purifiers but since they don't we must go on the evidence we receive and the feedback we get from our customers.
